چکیده

Abstract Background Cannabis, an important industrial crop, has a high sensitivity to photoperiods. The flowering time of cannabis is one its agronomic traits, and significant effect on yield quality. CONSTANS-like ( COL ) gene plays key role in the regulation this plant. However, specific roles family are still unknown. Results In study, 13 CsCOL genes were identified genome. Phylogenetic analysis implied that proteins divided into three subgroups, each subgroup included conserved intron/exon structures motifs. Chromosome distribution showed unevenly distributed 7 chromosomes, with chromosome 10 having most members. Collinearity two syntenic pairs CsCOL4 CsCOL11 found both rice Gossypium raimondii . Of genes, CsCOL6 CsCOL12 pair tandem duplicated whereas CsCOL8 may have resulted from segmental duplication. Furthermore, tissue-specific expression preferentially expressed leaves, 1 stem, 2 female flower. Most exhibited diurnal oscillation pattern under different light treatment. Additionally, sequence CsCOL3 CsCOL7 amino acid differences among early-flowering late cultivars. Conclusion This study provided insight potential functions highlighted their cannabis. Our results laid foundation for further elucidation

Genome-wide identification and expression analysis of the CPP-like gene family in soybean.

Cysteine-rich polycomb-like protein (CPP-like) genes are a group of transcription factors with highly conserved cysteine-rich domains and are widely distributed in animals and plants, but do not present in yeast. Previous studies have shown that members of this family play important roles in the development of reproductive tissue and in the control of cell division in plants. In this study, who...

Genome-Wide Analysis of Homeobox Gene Family in Legumes: Identification, Gene Duplication and Expression Profiling

Homeobox genes encode transcription factors that are known to play a major role in different aspects of plant growth and development. In the present study, we identified homeobox genes belonging to 14 different classes in five legume species, including chickpea, soybean, Medicago, Lotus and pigeonpea. The characteristic differences within homeodomain sequences among various classes of homeobox ...

Bioinformatics Genome-Wide Characterization of the WRKY Gene Family in Sorghum bicolor

The WRKY gene family encodes a large group of transcription factors that regulate genes involved in plant response to biotic and abiotic stresses. Sorghum is a notable grain and forage crop in semi-arid regions because of its unusual tolerance against hot and dry environments. We identified a set of 85 WRKY genes in the S. bicolor genome and classified them into three groups (I–III). Among the ...
